Description

Every portrait starts with a story.

• What is your pet’s name? What makes you smile about them? Tell me about their quirks, personality, and the little things that make them uniquely yours.
• Send me your favorite photos, and I’ll help you choose the best one for your portrait. Using 100% wool and traditional needle-felting techniques, I carefully recreate your chosen photograph, paying close attention to expression, markings, and character.
• For memorial portraits, I can incorporate a small amount of your pet’s fur into the artwork. If you would like this option, please mention it when placing your order.
• Once we have chosen the perfect photo, we’ll discuss timeline. Most portraits take several weeks to complete, and some may take up to three months. Great art takes time, and I never rush the creative process.
• I’ll keep you updated when I begin your portrait and share progress photos along the way. Please note that I may use your pet’s photos, progress images, and the finished portrait on my social media and website. If you prefer otherwise, just let me know.
• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot and cover consultation time and materials. The remaining balance is due when your portrait is complete.
• Flat pet portraits are sold unframed, allowing you to choose a style that suits your home. I recommend a shadow box frame, where the glass does not touch the wool. If you have questions about framing, I’d be happy to provide examples.
• And one last favor—I absolutely love seeing portraits arrive at their new homes. If you’d like to share photos or a video of the unveiling, I’d be delighted to see them.
